In the previous post, I said the weight of rackets is one of the most important thing to choose your racket.
Continuously, I want to tell you about the second thing.
● Please choose famous tennis brand's rackets.
There are so many tennis brands around the world such as Wilson, Head, Babolat, Yonex, Prince, and Dunlop.
Eash brand has several tennis racket models and Each model has different characteristics.
But in my opnion, each brand has also each characteristics.
I will tell you these characteristics through my personal sight.
First. Wilson
You've known Wilson is one of the most famous tennis brand in the world. Especially, Roger federer is using Wilson racket 'Wilson Prostaff RF97'. I used several Wilson racket such as RF97, Prostaff(315g), Blade v6, Ultra v3, and Burn100.
Generally thinking, Wilson's rackets are usually the average of all rackets. Hmm....
Power, control, spin, and feel are very very general(?).
Power is enough
Control is also enough
Spin is enough
Feel is little bit soft and classical.
Second. Babolat
Babolat is also very famous tennis brand in the world (Rafael Nadal is using babolat racket)
Babolat's racket is ususally called 'Pure Aero', 'Pure Strike' and 'Pure Drive'.
I used three models and my feeling was very simple to explain.
Power is greater than Wilson
Control is less than Wilson
Spin is greater than Wilson
Feeling is very soft and not classical.
In my opinion, Babolat's racket flame is usually harder than wilson's.
So, when you hit the ball, your racket can help you to create more power and spin.
However, your ball control is little bit difficult because of lack of ability to hold your ball.
I recommend you these babolat rackets when your tennis level is intermediate.
You can create more power and spin even though your level is low.
Third. Head
Head rackets are also very famous. Espesically, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, one of the big 4 players, are using head rackets.
I also used head rackets 'head gravity' and 'head radical'.
I found some similarities when I used these rackets. I think this feeling is the characteristics of head rackets.
Power is greater than Wilson
Control is similar with Wilson
Spin is similar with Wilson
Feel is very soft, but the shock absorption is less than others
Head's rackets are very mysterious. Power, control, and spin are very very nice. The opposite partners are usually felt tired because of my hitting ball. Especially Serve is very awesome. I don't know why. But I thnik it can be a characteristic of head rackets.
However, I felt some 'shocks' when I hit the ball from my racket frame. The shock absorption of Head's racket seems not to be general. It is my personal feeling. When I play with head racket, I felt shock from my arms. I thought the reason is that I didn't hit the ball acuurately. Yeah I'm not a professional tennis player. I cannot hit every ball perfectly. This is why I felt shock from using head rackets.
But, performance of head rackets is perfect.
Forth. other brands (Yonex, Dunlop, Prince)
I have no experience for these brands' rackets. If I have exprience, I will update this post quickly as soon as possible.
For this time, I compared some brands of tennis rackets; Wilson, Babolt, and Head.
I hope this post help you to choose your tennis rackets.
Thank you for reading.
